This statement expresses the essential Christian convictions of Oasis Youth Care Programs. It reflects the faith of our Board of Directors and will be the basis of our program implementation:
– The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and bears life-changing power. (Hebrews 4:12, Psalms 19:7)
– We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 8:6)
– We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, in his sinless life, in his death on the cross, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal return. – We believe people receive forgiveness of sins and the hope of eternal life through a relationship with Jesus.
– We believe that Christian love transcends all barriers of race, culture, gender, or denomination. Christians are called to follow and obey Christ’s teaching and example; to treat each other with love, honour and respect, and strive to be God’s witnesses in their homes and in the world.
